    Hi All,
My name is Tony and I have an addiction.. lol. I want from a 2017 Taco that was ok (if you don't mind clearcoat, battery and water leak issues) to this solid badass Cement Tundra. What a difference! I only have ~150 miles on it, but I am now addicted. I love this truck... just ordered a Retrax tonneau cover and am having it Ceramic coated next week. I also ordered a bunch of car care products to keep her looking good.

I look forward to some good conversation and excellent info you all provide on the forum.

    Welcome So Cal Tech Head,

Welcome to the tribe! I went from an '89 Jeep Comanche in '99, to an '02 Tundra V-6 SR5 Access Cab in '02, to a '15 Tundra 1794 Edition two months ago. 18 years with the aught two Tundra taught me that they have gotten pickups right....and I was looking at either a 4Runner or a Tacoma Crewcab. My wife fell in love with the 2015 Tundra so we had to buy it day-of-test-drive, Leap Day.

I often referred to my '02 as a Lexus Pickup, and Jeez, the 1794 Edition IS one. A lot of bucks but a lot of truck. 1st-ever A/T, Vee-Type Eight for me. It'll take me a lifetime to figure out the electronics(Maps, Bumper Radars, Weather Radar, What's LSD Control?, Nav, Bluetooth, Some Hands-Free Phone Stuff[who has a cell-phone?]), but it's an excellent vehicle!

I had a California period too, 50s & 60s, Encino, Granada Hills, North Highlands. Some "boss" places in that state. I flew there 6 years ago in April to go to the Bakersfield Swap Meet and the Concours d'Elegance they hold someplace called "La Jolla". Many Tundras in your neck of the woods?

    Jeff in Idaho.

Thanks Jeff! The 1794 is a beautiful truck..congrats on the purchase. Speaking of all the features, many many moons ago I was in the Automotive business and had my share of cars\trucks but this is the first vehicle that actually read the owners manual... These are getting more complex and I am getting older :) Bad combo.
