Frame swap

Hello everyone, I have a 2006 dc 4wd with a rusty frame. Is there any other models(sequoia,dc 2wd) that frame might be interchangeable with a 06 dc? Or is my only option a donor dc? Tried searching but haven’t found any answers. Thanks in advance.

 

No one is really for sure. You'd need the Vin from the donor vehicle to confirm compatibility.

(Things like : DC, 2WD/4WD, etc.)

Best case is to find another DC frame if you can, and swap.

 

Also, have you registered an account with toyota owners .com to see prior dealership maintenance history?

You could get a free* frame from a dealership under recall. I just got one of my trucks back about two weeks ago.

(I think the frame recall only "applied" to the earlier trucks 2000-2003, but I have read about others being later getting frames as well. See link below. )
