I was poking around in my 2018 1794 today and when I went to seek something under the drivers seat from the rear. I noticed a small black plastic tab on each side at the seat back base where it connects to the floor. I tugged a bit on them and they easily folded out as a 3-4 inch long by 2 inch wide flat panel with a tab attached curved clip. The clips look like they should hold a rod or dowel shaped item about 3/4" inch in diameter that would stretch along the floor at the rear base of the drivers seat.
Note the Passenger seat does not have these clips? I am at a loss as to their function or if I am missing something here......sorry no pics I will try to put some up later.

Any ideas? mini fishing rod holder? Police baton clip? some specialized doodad that I need to purchase?...….suggestions welcome, real knowledge appreciated, sarcasm is probably unavoidable.……..

    Ya, without pictures...

With that being said. I wonder if these are just tabs that are used to keep the edges of the upholstery tucked in.

Is it part of the ventilated seats?

I tore my seats all apart installing leather, and I had no such hardware.

It likely snaps up and around the round bar of the seat frame.

That's were mine are hooked up to, its like a cover for the seat rail when you raise the seat. I noticed these while installing my Clazzio seat covers.

This is a "pinch" guard. They're garbage and break if you lower the seat too far or move it around too much. Took mine off, it's stupid. That hook is supposed to attach on the back of the seat and came off yours.
