for delivery. Never forced but I did just pay top dollar for a 2020 4x4 Sr5 Cement Gray ($48K). It only has 2500 miles on it though and I will know soon if she's a keeper after delivery. (Carvana). In a situation where I needed a truck, I've always wanted a Tundra, and thought I found a decent base model and MODless. I know. It's a shitty deal, but it's a Tundra.

I cannot wait to dive into all these posts and get some good MOD ideas. I want to start by replacing the existing front grill (TRD PRO Toyota lettered front grill), new wheels/tires, running bars, and lift/level options.

Aftermarket halo headlights with HID, various LED bulb replacements. 17" Fuel Blitz wheels with some 33" Nitto terra grapplers. Hoodscoop, nfab nerfbars, Bushwacker flares. No-name aftermarket grille, led fender extensions. Black Horse bambi-basher. Various offroad lights.
Welcome from SoCal. If you're ok with what you paid, then it wasn't too much. Gratz on getting your Tundie, post some pics when you get it.

    Welcome

Why do YOU feel it’s such a shitty deal ? 48k on Carvana is about right - yes, you could have potentially paid 46k at a dealer - but guaranteed you’d be net even on bottom line with the add on fees.

What’s a SR5 sticker at now - around 48-49…and finding one on hand can be a pain. You got a new truck with 2500 miles on it - enjoy.

As to “base” a SR5 is actually the “popular equipment” trim - the SR is the base.

as me and my buddies joke, "you only YOLO once" haha. the way I see it, as long as you're happy with your truck and can afford it comfortably, then I see nothing wrong with your decision, especially if it was a need. Congrats!
