I have a 2019 SR5 Tundra, what I would like to know is there a cover for the foot rest / dead pedal area ? I know there are some floor mats that probably cover that spot.

The Tacomas I had did have a cover for that spot.

If looking for a mat in particular I can recommend Husky liners weather beaters as they cover the dead pedal. I was particular on making sure that pedal was covered as I put my foot there. Would recommend the weather beaters any day as they get the job done well of protecting the floor and they are the first mod I do in new vehicles. Bought em for my Tundra and the wife’s 4Runner.

Agreed, it does seem like something should be over that area. Not just carpet. My 2012 and my 2018 don't have anything in that location.

The OEM all weather floor mats cover that area. It is surprising that the carpeted floor mats do not though.

I made the mistake of buying weathertech floor mats. They don’t cover thr dead pedal area as the Husky mats do. I don’t feel like spending money on the Huskies I would’ve gotten. So I used clear 3M paint protectant tape to cover the carpet, until I hate the floormats enough to buy the ones I like.
