I bought a 2022 Tundra with a folding tonneau pre-installed. If I were given the option I would have skipped it, but... that's what I could get.

For lack of a better word, the end caps on one of the hinges come loose when folding and unfolding it. It takes a bit of going back and forth to get them back in place long enough to get it closed.

I suspect this was made by BAK, but it has Toyota stickers on it.

Anyone know what's supposed to hold them in place? I'm tempted to glue them in to avoid a dealership trip, but they may be something I'd regret.

    Photo attached (I hope).

I doubt its made by Toyota, as you said its possible its a Bak or other brand just with Toyota stickers. I would start by contacting your dealership and asking who made the cover (for past generations the covers are sourced by the dealership not the Port or main Toyota so the brand can change from dealer to dealer).

That said, I would think some glue or silicone would work to hold it in place.

That rubber ribbed edge should clip back in. If it pops out again, use non-expansion gorilla glue on the ribbed part, clamp it overnight and it will stay.
