I’ve tried to lay down the back of the seat in my 2016 Tundra crew cab! I know it will lay down but all three straps don’t seem to release anything! Is there an easier way to get it laid down??? I know it will because I did it once! Haven’t found any insight or forums. Thanks in advance!!

I've got a 2014 and the seat backs don't fold down, seat bottoms fold up. They didn't change that in 2 years did they?

Plastic lever on top, door side, of seat back on my 07
I don't think the backs lay down on a 2.5 gen

Yep mine has a lever where that first pic is
I also did a little search and there is a mod for the double cabs to lay rear seat backs down

don't know the 2.5 gen (you might check there), but if they're they same as the second gen, you can shave the hooks on the backrests to make them fold downIMG_20250722_081213.jpg IMG_20250722_081219.jpg

    I have an '08 and a '21....

The back of the rear seat of the '08 fold forward and then seat will then slide forward or back on its track... Also, in the '08, you could lean the back fo the seat back a few degrees for more comfort...

The bottom of the '21s seat only flips up...

They are completely different seating systems.
