Hello Tundra crew. I'm trying to get some direction on how to add fog lights. The factory blanks are there now and apparently the fog light plugs are there too. I don't want to buy a kit for hundreds that doesnt fit. I'm looking for a bolt on, plug and play. Any suggestions would be great.

Really comes down to if the wiring plugs really are there. I have helped someone with fog light wiring before. It’s not crazy difficult.

Does the stalk on the left side of the steering wheel have the switch for the fog lights you rotate forward? It’s right by the one that turns the headlights on.

Here's what I did. I bought some factory fog light housings from a guy who swapped to an offroad crawling bumper. He charged me 20.00 for both. The housings literally snap into place. Yours is a metal bumper so be sure to get housings for metal. I heard the ebay Chinese knock-off housings don't fit right so I wanted OEM. I had some Morimoto fog lights from a promo they were running so I installed them. You likely have the factory harness. I did, but didn't want to get and install the fog light stalk. I went with a switch that fits the factory blank and is back lit amber like the rest of my dash lights. I wired it with an ebay harness. It was plug and play. Wired it to run when my headlights are on but independently of my high beams. Also, the factory housing and fog light interface is a bit loose so you can get light bounce. You can see it when approaching reflective signs. I show how to fix that here: https://www.tundras.com/threads/loose-shaky-fog-lights.26100/page-2#post-2492876

    Here's how it looks

Here's where I put the switch. It's the one directly behind the shifter.
