Is there anyway to turn off the proximity sensor on the truck so that I can take the hard key with me and leave the fob in my bed when I am kayaking ?

In my 2016 I had a shell and I would take the shell key and leave the fob in my bed. This worked well for activities in which I didn't want to bring the FOB, mountain biking and kayaking.

This weekend I went mountain biking and I didn't want to carry my FOB so I locked it in the bed with a Diamondback cover, but not matter where I put it, either the truck or door would would open. I am not opposed to putting it in some sort of box that would block the signal.

    Issue resolved.
Hold lock button then depress unlock twice. To turn RF back on hit unlock.
