I have searched and read so many FOB related questions/issues, but mine seems unique.

Any helpful suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks In Advance

    Here goes:

2020 Tundra TRD Pro CrewMax bought recently
    • FOBs working fine for weeks and as recently as this morning - ALL functions
    • FOBs stopped working - wont lock/unlock/panic now - tried BOTH FOBs.
    • Replaced batteries in FOBs - still don’t lock/unlock/panic
    • FOBs will start the car.
    • FOBs will allow me to lock/unlock by pressing outside door handle button with key in pocket
    • When locking/unlocking with outside door handle, no beep sound, but lights flash.. odd. I checked vehicle settings and it is supposed to be beeping at volume level 7!
    • FOB will remote start with three presses of lock (hold on third) - so that signal seems to be sending/receiving
Nothing New added … No changes (LED lights, etc) since it last worked just earlier today
Inside door lock switches work fine for all four doors
Opened lock/unlocked all four doors… no actuation problems using inside front door switches

Because both FOBs simultaneously stopped working this afternoon, I feel like it is related to the truck side of the send/receive. It just doesn’t seem to be receiving the signal anymore.

Is there a fuse that is related to the signal ‘receiver’ in the truck? Is there something else I should be checking? Why doesn’t it ‘beep’ on lock/unlock anymore?

Thanks so much for your brainpower! I’m nearly out of hair trying to figure this out

Take it for what it's worth. When my wife's Hyundai started to do the same with her key fobs it failed to start one morning. The car battery was shot; replaced it and the fobs started working again. Again from left field but it could be a start. Also she has 2018 and it was 2020 when were replaced the battery.

ditto on your battery, your truck being a 2020, now is about the time the factory battery takes a crap. 3 years is about it, 4 years would be lucky and many go bad in just 2. Id check that first.

and so you know, weak battery will cause all sorts of faults, issues, alerts/errors with Tundras if the systems are not getting full power. The issues can be odd and seem unrelated, but often it is due to the battery going out.
