    anybody know what the purpose of the foam under the air filter in the air box ?

    I wondering why in my 3rd gen tacoma this charcoal filter was AFTER the air filter and on the tundra is BEFORE the filter ! ?
    And doesnt even take the air because is on the bottom. Take a look at yours

    Don’t have one, but could be for noise reduction, and/or insulation from the hot engine bay?

    The air vent under the headligth on a 2022 are fonctional so I think its a water absorber ?
