    Good afternoon,

I've got the fluid specs for these, but looking for torque specs for drain and fill plugs on a 2019 Tundra TRD Sport 4x4 Crew. I have the washers for each from the dealer (with exception of the the Transfer Case which appears not to require any)

    Engine Oil Pan drain plug.
    Transmission drain and fill plugs
Front Differential drain and fill plugs
Transfer case drain and fill plugs
Rear Differential drain and fill plugs

    Thanks for considering!

Using a torque wrench on drain plugs can lead to over tightening. Unless you're someone who has a tendency to over do it i never suggest torque wrenches on those. I serviced all those mentioned and it's pretty easy to tell when it's tight enough and you can just check for leaks after.

Why oh why don't manufacturers give wet torque numbers for drain plugs?

    Maybe they do?:monocle:

My previous service, I didn’t even bother dealing with torque specs of these bolts and nothing has leaked.

Tighten it enough to where you need to use a bit of muscle to open it next time, but not to the point of where you’ll need a 3ft cheater bar to open it up again.

Wet torque must be 30% less, so about 1/3 ugga dugga.
