So I'm due for my 5000 mile service and its close to winter, which around here means snow and salty roads. I plan to leave my oil and filter alone and run past 5000 miles for the first time. I'll go to 10k max. I have always done synthetic every 5k but will try more miles this time.

I will however be rotating my tires and while I have the wheels off I'll spray the wheel wells and suspension with fluid film. Then while I have the jack's and fluid film out I'll crawl underneath and spray everything I can get to.

I have always done a front to back, same sided tire rotation. Any reason to change this up? And inside of buying some kind of lift, does anyone have a easy way to rotate tires? I normally just jack up one side, support with jack stands and swap wheels front to back. Then do the other side.

Personally I go by what the book recommended. Bring the rears straight forward iand the fronts cross, right front to left rear and the left front to right rear.
Opposite for front wheel drive. Fronts go straight back and cross the rears moving to the front. If your tires are directional just move them front to back.
