You'll have to decide if you want 50 Series or Super 50 Series.

I’ve had this one on my 2000 4.7 V8 with dual turn downs after the axle for 15 years. Sounds like a flowmaster. Enough throaty exhaust note outside with not a lot of in cab drone. Have been pleased with it.

Got it on. I feel its too quiet maybe taking off resonator. It sounds good if you rev it but I think I can handle a bit more. I think the 40 series with resonator on would be good.

I think the one I had for 3 months was a 40 series. It was loud as hell, sounded awesome at full throttle but it was too much drone even with the resonator. To be fair to the muffler I had it dumped right after the cab. With full piping it might have been better.

It will get louder over time. Mine certainly has. My friends son put one on his 5.3 Silverado and it sounded kinda weak sauce at first. After 8 months it's really woken up and sounds great! I went back and forth for awhile about whether it was oud enough. It never seemed loud enough on nice sunny days with the windows down cruising around when I wanted to hear it more. Then it seemed too loud on some longer trips when I just wanted to listen to the radio and enjoy some road time. It's probably just right in the middle.

Pulling the resonator may increase unwanted interior drone.

I definitely need mine to be loud. Just to flex on everyone that my penis is absolutely huge. Everyone knows you gain a visual inch for every 10-15 decibels of noise pollution you add.
