Seems like diffused aren’t as bright. Since hood mounted lights are “off road use only”, I’d get the brightest ones I can.

ya foolish me!! forgot to add what I plan to use it for!! soooo. driving down blm or forest roads to spot critters / rocks along side of roads! slow speeds ! I'll have lights added to brush guard for forward light!
