Tundras live: Agree to disagree (a lesson in civility)

Dunno… probably skipping. The 2nd movie is miles ahead of any other in the series IMO and can be watched without the context of the first movie.

 

Trailer finished. Didn’t need a wash, so will to that and the wax in a month or two. Otherwise ready to rock. I felt like taking off, finding @NWPirate and kicking one of his neighbors out. I’m ready for the bonfire-n-beer season.

Cleaned up the front yard, fixed the watering system and got the garage 80% clean. My leaf blower just kicked up a storm of pollen and crap, so my allergies are spiking. Time for a cold shower, a beverage and the beauty of an A/C house.

 

Well, a tune up kit on the echo trimmer will take a week and I'm done waiting. Just bought an electric E-Go trimmer. I hope it works well.

 

I think the first movie holds up well, but it's more suspense/horror while the sequel goes into more action. The series could have ended after the second film IMO.

 

I 100% agree. Typical of both Sigourney Weaver and James Cameron to milk something well beyond its time. Michael Biehn is one of my favorite “most underrated” actors from the ‘90’s.

 

Lunatic size hail is something I want to see before I die. But I don’t want to live in an area that gets it on the reg…nor do I want to die from it.

 

I love the gas powered Stihl leaf blower I bought a year ago… but I will now admit that I never use it for more than about 30 minutes, so I should have just bought the battery version. Hope your trimmer works out well!

 

Not to mention a low IQ.

Kinda weird here for Memorial weekend, pretty quiet.. not a bad thing.

 

Well, I can say without a doubt that I will never buy another gas trimmer. The battery doesn't last super long, but it does a lot of work in a short time. Not sure I'd do an electric mower due to cost and the size of my lot, but for a lighter duty tool, electric all the way.

 

Seriously? That’s funny. I prob would have loaded up the fam and hauled out today had I known. Although the daughter is fighting a cold so that’s the real buzz kill.

Nothing wrong with quiet this weekend. Normally it is such a shitshow.

 

I need to slowly migrate that way. You and I are not anti-gas, but if I can get away from having to manage 2-stroke mix I’ll be happy.

Well, not sure I want anything but a gas power chainsaw…so guess that dream dies here.

Definitely not anti-gas. I just hate maintenance on small engines because I have nowhere to do it. I'm hard on my yard tools as a result.

I need a garage/shop. Then if I want to try and cuss one back into working order I have a place to leave the pieces and parts when I walk away.

 

Yeah I really liked my gas trimmer. When it got past the point of repair I went with battery. Not quite the Tool Man effect, but works with less effort.

 

I’m in the same boat. I’m purposely not changing the oil in my weed eater so I can buy an electric one when it dies.

 

Yeah, the primer bulb on mine split. I'll replace it and find somebody that wants to clean it up and make it run. It's a good machine, but I'm better off with electric.

 

I’ve had good luck with a battery powered saw for 16” bar “tasks”
But when I need to drop trees, the 24” bar and the gas saw come out

 

Their fries are worth every ounce of pain. Phuking crack.

 

I need to buy a 24" bar saw. My 16" is good but @Fotnot keeps reminding me that size matters
