Got to the airport early and found my flight delayed 1-1/2 hours, which will bump me from my connecting flight home. Going to be stuck in Seattle overnight in the airport now

Anytime I fly domestic there are always issues. Irritating.

I flew ANA/All Nippon to Vietnam via Toyko. If boarding started at 1:10, the crew at exactly 1:10 was all bowing to us customers and we got rolling. It was heaven

Just landed in Seattle - at a D gate out in the tarmac… bus ride to the terminal as my other flight is leaving. First flight out is 6am.

i could get a hotel voucher… so that I can take a bus to offsite hotel and then need to be back here with extra time due to holiday weekend rush tomorrow to catch a 6am flight.

I’ll find a corner to sleep in. Might buy a lounge membership if they are still open tonight. I did get put in first class for the 37 minute flight to Portland in the morning…

Welp, lounge closes at midnight and they don’t offer day memberships. So I’ll just camp in the terminal.

Yeah, we flew through some impressive thunderstorms last night about half the flight from Detroit to Seattle. Hell of a light show

It wasn’t as busy as I thought it would be at 5am, but I never went through security this morning.
When I came out of security at Portland at almost 7am, it was an absolute shit show.
Got home about 7:45. Decompressing now…

 

Sorry everyone...12hours of zombie sleep here. Guess I timed everything perfect last night (sleep cycle, caffeine, deuces, etc.). Although I'd gotten about 10 hours of sleep on my two flights, I hadn't been in a normal bed for something like 42 hours.

Now to dewinterize my trailer and finish a few things on the truck!

 

I figured you'd be camping out beyond cell service. Not up in the hills boondocking?

 

Not this time, being new to the area.

Plan is to find boondock locations this trip, hopefully coming back in October to hunt.

 

Great idea. I'd scanned bunch of places up there before we camped at Conconully last year. You can drive nearly every direction up in that part of the state and get lost.
