My 19 TRD Off Road Crewmax 4x4 leaf springs have seen better days. Even at 50k they are almost flat at rest.

This is partially due to an 800 to 1,000lb constant payload for the last 20k. I have bed drawers, a topper, and handyman tools for work. Sometimes it may see 2,000lbs total in the bed for a short drive.

I really want leaf springs to get a small 1” lift out of the deal. I am fearful that that modification is so rigid(non adjustable) that if it is too stiff, ruins ride, or too soft that I will regret it. I would hate to spend $600-1000 and be disappointed in end product. At the end of the day it is too much risk for now.

I would like to order the Firestone Ride Rite Airbag kit for $350 as I think it gets me back to stock ride height regardless of load. Have you had a good experience going to airbags? What issues can you foresee with this setup? With 99% on-road driving this should still be viable for some fire roads and over landing national forests right?4C3D975D-61E5-4061-96EA-C2E4369CD74B.jpg1CCE39BD-1A7D-4727-9613-8D809618FC2E.jpg

Call and ask for Lew at Alcan Springs. He can build them for your lift and load capacity. Myself, @texasrho83 and a few others have Alcans.
