My Tundra is a 2020. I am 70 and night vision isn’t what it used to be. Yes, I was checked out by an ophthalmologist who told me to wear yellow glasses since he saw nothing wrong.

Sometimes I either go off-road or areas where there are no street lights. What I am looking for are VERY BRIGHT off-road lights. They do not have to be street legal as I have no intention of blinding people of the roads, even when they do not show me the same consideration.

Any recommendations. My assumption is that they will have to be mounded in a spot other than the stock lights.

Diode dynamics and Baja Designs are two of the top options. Personally have some diode dynamics amber fog lights in the pro format and am very happy with them. They have a max version as well that is brighter.

Baja has simply impressive off road lights. Spendy but they are not many that are in their ballpark as far as capability.

Funny you mention that. On my Chevy I removed the 4001 high beams and replaced them with 13 Volt Marine / Aviation landing lights.

The standard 4001 has a curved front lens with glass triangle to diffuse the lights and probably around 15,000 CP. The Marine / Aviation landing lights had a flat front lens, clear glass and were rated at 200,000 CP
