    Running boards, bed liner,
Started my 2010 Tundra 4.0 V6, check engine light and traction light came on and was in the limp mode. Brought it to local mechanic ran a code and it was the AIP. It will be a few weeks before they can fix it($2000 parts and labor). They took off the check engine light and traction light. It ran good, no limp mode, lights on dash didn’t come back on. So far put about 50 miles on it and still no warning lights on dash and no limp mode. Should I have it fixed or just wait and see what happens? All input appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Mark

    Welcome to the forum.

I'd get it fixed, you don't get to choose where it goes into limp mode again.
I believe some have bypassed it if that is legal in your state..

That happened to my 2005 around 95K miles and it was stuck in limp mode.
I limp-moded it to the dealership.
It was about $3000 to fix but that was over 12 years ago.

Expect the code to come back get yourself a cheap code reader just in case so you can limp home. I would bypass the SAIS system

For less than half that, I would do a AIP delete. 2k, wow.
