Hey everyone! I’m definitely a Toyota fan!

    Currently, I own a 2007 Toyota Tundra limited 4WD

    and

This spring, I purchased a 2023 Toyota GR86 premium Manual, after a 10 month wait and taking an Uber from central PA to New Jersey.

I’ve been wanting to keep my 4Runner forever, since it runs butter smooth and is in great condition. The only issue is the minor torque converter shutter between 20-40mph

However, I’ve always wanted a truck. I’ve been on the fence about getting a Tundra or Tacoma. My friend has a Tacoma and I couldn’t get over how low the seat sits to the floor and how cramped the crew cab rear seats are. I’ve been looking at used Tundras for years and the limited trim level Tundra was the same price or lower than the SR5 Tacomas. Plus, the Tacomas had far more frame rust issues. I was able to find a clean 2010 Tundra Crewmax Limited 4WD on marketplace (175,000 miles). I noticed it sitting since early spring and it had several price drops from $19,800 down to $17,800. I reached out to the seller over a month ago and she was willing to $16,900. I decided to meet and at least get a good look at the truck, even though it was still more than I wanted to pay. We realized we knew each other from a job 6 years ago. Her husband was a landscaper and already had two other trucks with long beds. The shorter bed on this truck didn’t suit his needs. She was flexible enough to sell it to me at $16,800 and we agreed to document $10,500 at the notary to reduce the taxes owed. Plus, I’ll need to replace the windshield before inspection in December (using my comprehensive auto insurance policy). I’m happy with my purchase and I’m currently letting a friendborrow my 4Runner until they decide to buy it l. Or, I’ll sell it to someone else.

I haven’t done mods. It came with a trailer brake control and Firestone rear airbags. Along with what appears to be a 3+” lift. But, I’d like to upgrade the headlights and taillights and 3rd brake light to LED and change front grille to a Sequoia TRD style. Looking for guidance and suggestions.

I’m excited to see everyone’s builds!
