Hello everyone, I purchase over a year ago a new 2016 SR5 5.7L with tow pckg Tundra magnetic grey and love it. I had a piece of s*%# Ford F-150 before which I bought new as well. I can say one thing, Ford never again... Anyhow, I already started some few mods here and there. XB Fog lights, N-Fab light bar and 30" Black Oak LED light bar on top of it. What pushed me to create myself to create an account with this wonderful forum is the new 2018 LED headlights. I have been following IHacker with is superb harness. I think this set up will be my next mod. Then the next one... Possibly the TRD PRO suspension, that's another story. This is a great place to share and gain some knowledge on different mods and other things people have done. I am a diesel mechanic by trade and worked on transport trucks for about 10 years. Now I'm fixing aircraft!!!

    Cheers!

Welcome to being a Tundra owner! In the late 90's, my Mom died and my Dad didn't need two vehicles so he gave me his 1992 Ford F150. While I appreciated the gift, I only kept it for a few months. Dad lived in Maine and all the brake lines/rotors, etc. were covered in rust and the brakes were starting to fail...ended up selling the truck to a farmer after my Dad gave the okay.

I made a HUGE mistake today....watched a youtube video on a review of the 2018 Tundra Platinum.....hubba hubba I'm in love....

Thats cool man. I actually inherited my truck from my future wife at the time. I was a Chevy many growing up. Anyhow, I sold my 93 Silverado and paid off the Tundra with it over 6 years ago. Love not having a payment as I can do what I want to this bad boy. We/I have a 2007. When I got her truck it was BONE stock SR5 and it has been so fun building this thing over the past several years. Great truck. I am seriously in a "reinforce mode". lol.... Like some kind of DoomsDay prepper....lol...

You fix aircraft? What kind? I was associated with aircraft basically my whole life. Dad was a chief pilot and instructor my whole life and my brother was in avionics for Boeing. Great field!

Yeah, same with me. I did the mistake of looking at lighting output of those new LED's man, now I need them!!! I'm the kind of guy of you don't have enough lighting output... Especially now where I live, it's darker during winter with only 8hrs of daylight... Oh well, one mod at a time!

C-130! I love the old Herc! I was a crewmember on the Combat Talon MC-130H and loved that old bird!! (I wish I would've stayed airborne longer to see the J model...I heard it was rocking!!)
