I bought my 2011 back in June and I have been slowly working my way through changing all of the fluids. I did a transmission drain and fill last month and the rear end a few weeks before that. I did the oil change Friday and it was an experience.

I have changed the engine oil on a lot of vehicles and never had one that was as much of an experience that this one had been. The previous owner had only reinstalled 3 bolts in the skid plate. The two bolts in the front and the one in the rear were all that was holding the plate on, and of course the two front bolts snapped off. I had to drill and rethread those holes and clean out the others.

I am so glad that I had read everyone's posts on the sight . I ordered the metal filter housing, filter wrench and new bolt washers before I even attempted the change. Which was a good thing because I don't think the old owner had ever used the filter wrench. The bottom of the plastic filter housing was broken and several of the fins were cracked. The last bit of fun was my own fault. I have become so accustom to changing the oil on small SUVs and cars that I did not even think about the truck takes over 5 quarts of oil. So there I was under the truck with the oil pan draining into my normal round pan, when I noticed it was getting closer and closer to the top.
Fortunately I had a second pan that I was using to drain the filter and I was able to switch them out with only a small oil spill. I will be using my large litter pan he next time.

The old oil was pretty dark so I might do a second oil change here in a few months. I did get everything back together and no leaks. My only question is what is the normal oil pressure for this truck? I have the 4.6 and my oil gauge has always read between the middle and high. Is that normal?
