I tow (a lot) an Airstream trailer and I installed Firestone Bags in my 2007 and 2016 Tundra and with a new 2024 Limited I am doing the same. First problem was getting the kit, but the supply issue appears to be getting better. Mine arrived last week and my first attempt to install was a failure. The upper and lower brackets do not lineup or fit.

Firestone support uggested that I leave a few bolts out on the top and hammer the lower bracket into place. My responce was, how do I return this kit, it clearly was not designed for my truck.

Then Firestone responded with, we have some modified brackets that will work and we will overnight them to you. Got the parts and will install today. Anyone else run into this?

I had hoped that someone with experiance installing this kit would respond. Firestone has shipped me some replacement parts for the kit which are a much better fit than the original, but after 3 attempts to install I am returning everything and going with a Timbren setup...

Thank you for such valuable information. I'm a big fan of Firestone ride rite. Looks like it time to wait for them to get it right. Hey Firestone, are you reading this, no one is buying inferior products.

I'm wondering can you install factory OEM airbags and run your airline to the back bumper?
