Finished Morimoto fog light install

A few weeks ago I replaced my headlights with the Morimoto XB LED's, and when I used my factory fog lights I knew instantly that I could never live with that set up.
Did the fog light install in my driveway, took me 15 min total. 6 bolts, one philips screw. Ridiculously easy. I dont have any before photos of the fog lights on the street, but there are ample videos out there. Check out the light pattern, color. WORTH IT.

 

Is that the amber or white version?

 

These are the whites. Although the yellow wavelength helps in heavy fog, I also want mine to double as off road lighting to get that extra little bit, so I chose white. Theyre sooooooo much better than factory!

I feel your pain! HR & Morimoto were doing a special in August that was awesome, free Morimoto 4Banger Wide Fogs with purchase of the XB Gen 2 Headlights. Knew that I couldn't have one without the other cause those halogens stink!

 

great looking ride! the morimoto website shows the lumens rating for my oval fog lights, but shows a Cd rating for the 4 bangers. Im not sure how to convert one to the other so not sure what the light output difference is. Anyone smarter than me that knows?

These puppies seem huge for some reason!

 

Yeah when I first opened the box I thought they had sent the wrong lights, but believe it or not thats the size the trucks call for. Soooo much better !
