Finally got the ok for a Supercharger

The Boss just ok'd a Supercharger purchase after a very lengthy debate today. I have reached out to National Speed and was looking for anyone who has done business with them. They are the closest installer to me in Virginia. The stage 2 Harrop kit has 80mm pulley,DW 650 injectors, Harrop upgraded pump and all the supplies needed to install, is there anything else that you would need to make this complete..not building a race truck just trying to make a educated decision. Quote out the door with before and after dyno with tuning is 12480...does this sound high or in the ballpark ...thanks guys

 

You’ll want to add the magnuson intake box from superchargers online.

Well it's more a give and take situation I am very blessed and was able to trade her is350 for a 24 acura mdx with some cash so she has a 24 that's paid off

 

Negative the tube for the maf sensor needs to be larger for the blower

Rey does that box feed air from fender and does anybody make an adaptor that I could convert the Stillen, I thought Saltyhero modified one on his truck

Correct feeds from the filter problem with the front pipe is I believe it won’t fit with the filter location. Add the SABM to the maggy box it works fine

 

What made you choose National Speed

 

Don't like any of the shops around me really, not enough to trust them to do the install. Emailed National Speed for more info. Jordan from the NC office called me and went over the breakdown and installation, etc. Kinda sold me off of that lol. I feel like they've done enough installs that they know what they are doing.

I went with Maggie bc that is what Jordan suggested when we talked on the phone. I told him I really only wanted stage 1 of their packages listed on their website and I'd be done. Not really regretting my decision as of this moment. I did ask if I could get the new maggie tvs 2650 and they said no shot lol.

 

What gauges are everyone that is Supercharged using to monitor iat and psi

yup 1900 and no idea. I went from emailing/calling to being installed in just about a month. So maybe not enough time to get it shipped over? i know they didnt have a 1900 in stock bc they said i was cutting it close doing it this monday.

yeah lol Jordan in NC. He gave me the discount during the first call lol basically sold me then and there.

 

12000$!? Just do it in the garage like me and save a ton of money. It wasnt that hard. The instructions were easy too. My Stage 2 d3 tune was easily done at home with a laptop.

Iat is through obd fusion app. Psi and afr is Aem.

Wish I could but that's Waaaay above my pay grade, I can barely walk and chew gum at the same time

 

I paid about the same for the same kit. + cooler spark plugs.

have them finagle the Transmission tune when you are tuning. 1-2 is squishy

get a catch can. nobody likes a schmeged up rotor pkg.
