I have a 2010 Tundra 5.7L Base CrewMax with Towing Package.

I decided to drain and fill the Front & Rear Diff as well as the Transfer Case. These are the capacities from the manual:
    • Rear Diff: 3.8 Quarts (~121 Ounces)
    • Front Diff: 2.2 Quarts (~70 Ounces)
    • Transfer Case: 1.2 Quarts (~38 Ounces)
    • Total: 7.2 Quarts (230 Ounces)
I was working with Two 1 Gallon Containers of Valvoline 75W-90 SynPower with a hand pump, and foolishly did not measure the drained fluid.

My problem is that I should have ended up with about 26 ounces leftover from my Two 1 Gallon containers, but I ended up with about 32 ounces in the second container, plus probably some from overflow (call it 34 ounces), so about 8 ounces difference.

Should I be worried about those 8 ounces?

I did what I have done on other vehicles, which is to warm up the vehicle by driving it in the appropriate 2WD & 4WD modes for maybe 5 minutes, then drain with fill plug removed until there is nothing left dripping. Replace drain plug, then fill until it overflows and wait for the dripping to stop with the new stuff. I was in a flat garage.
