I was going on a totally different direction but thanks to @Black and this forum for opening my eyes and educating me I managed to get some KO3's on 275/70/18s.

They're great looking tires, quiet, easy to balance, smooth, don't rub and handle really well in rain unlike the KO2's. I have two sets of KO2 on my 2013 and also nice tires but I think the KO3's are better as the many reviews say.

Just in case other folks are interested in this route, direction. I got them at Discount Tires and they've matched the Costco prices, so I was at $1370 outta the door.

Let us know how they do in the wet. I loved my K02's for everything but wet conditions. They looked good and I never had a balancing issue like other people, but I couldn't stand the roads being damp or wet and I'd lose traction while coasting or going slow... I've hears the K03's are supposed to have corrected that, but would still appreciate your feedback.

    They do look good

I drove them through some minor rain and they handled well so far. Much better than the KO2's and I know exactly the symptoms you're describing. Haven't seen the same with the KO3.s. I still need to test them in some really bad and downpour rain conditions and report back.

It's been ~20 years since I last ran KO's and hopefully they've gotten better. At that time, they were very good when new but quickly lost confidence in them after ~5-10K miles. As others have noted, they weren't great in the rain then either.

Not pooping on the OP's choice, but I haven't been back to KO's since then because there's too many other choices that I like better.

You ain't pooping on me parade no worries :) Well, I am on my second set of KO2's on my 2013 and besides the rain they were great tires. My first set got me 70K miles. I am on my second set of KO2's now on the 2013.

BUT, I put the KO2's on my Honda Pilot SUV and one of them shakes as shit, no matter how hard I try to balance it. The discount Tire manager thinks that is to heavy for an SUV and he is going to give me 50% off on my next set of tires when I am ready to swap the KO2's on the SUV. For now is manageable but I can't rotate the back to the front so the wear will be uneven. So I will wear them out and when ready I will get a new set for 50% off.

Subscribed ... bought my '21 with KO2's and think they're awesome and planning on upgrading to 3's when they wear out.
