To my fellow troubleshooters.....I'm just noticed today coming down a mountain believe it or not that i was receiving some serious vibration on the steering wheel around the 60 - 80 range with braking only and only in that speed regime.

I just had new Michelin tires installed last week at COSTCO and I definitely did not have the vibration before and did not notice any feedback after over the last 6 days with the new tire but I really haven't jumped on my brakes much since the install either.

Everything I have read online points to rotors being the cause as the balance and alignment is good to go at all speeds. Is it just coincidence this issue occurs after a tire change or can an improperly balanced tire cause feedback with braking only? My truck only has 25k on it so I have a hard time believing the rotors are shot or warped? Maybe brake pads?

Costco is going to take a look at it Monday and check the balancing and rotors while they under the truck and if the does not correct it I will take to the dealership. Curious on any ideas you may have
