thats not an N 95. N95 masks are only necessary for medical personnel while doing certain aerosolizing procedures.
Surgical masks like yours are what is needed, also bandanas and home made masks work well. Their purpose is to decrease the distance your secretions travel, they are effective at that. They minimally protect you from others. So by wearing a mask you are protecting other people, which is the idea behind wearing them.

Since I have to wear one at work 12-14 hrs a day I have given up on the elastic behind the ear masks, my ears were bleeding at once point. I use the kind that ties behind the head and neck. When I run to the store I'll throw on an elastic or just my American flag face sleeve thing doubled up.
A cough will throw droplets up to 8 feet
Single layer bandana or face shield 4 feet
Doubled-up bandana or fabric 15 inches
STICHED 2 layer cotton 3 inches
    Commercial cone mask 8 inches
    Commercial surgical 6 inches

If you want to protect yourself a full plastic face shield + eye glasses is very effective, more so than wearing a inappropriately sized or fake N95 mask. Eyes are very susceptible as far as virus introduction goes.
N95 respirator masks should be fit tested yearly, with changes in body weight of 20lbs or more, and are not effective as personnel protection twhen worn over facial hair.

The word is wear, not ware. I'll use them in a sentence.
If you care about anyone other than yourself, you will wear some kind of face-ware to prevent spread of the virus, that you are unaware you have, to someone whom may be more susceptible. Examples of those who may be more susceptible are your parents, neighbor's child, friend at work, old lady you walk by at the grocery store, Vietnam vet who pumps gas after you, and so on.
Please consider wearing a face covering to protect others.

Work specifically told us we aren't allowed to wear the bandanas they gave us in a "train robber" style.

    Lost track after #1.
I've always wondered how banks squared their no masks/no hats policy with a mask mandate.

To each their own. Some will wear it, and others won’t. Make your own choices.

Also, for those who wear masks inside of a car; you’re the reason why we still have instructions on pop-tarts.
