Anyone else get obviously incorrect notifications on the app?

This just popped up. I have a direct line of sight to my truck and it’s locked with the tailgate(and camper shell) locked.

I had a similar notification a few days back that said it was unlocked when I woke up in the morning. The message came through in the middle of the night. This led me to believe it had been broken into overnight, but when I looked, it was locked.

I assume this is just a glitch, but I’m curious how widespread it is.

I've never had that happen. Did you restart the app to see if the status would change?

It still showed the same thing until I drove it over lunch, then it went away. No clue what would have caused it.

I noticed same thing today, sitting in a restaurant for lunch with truck 30 feet away in direct sight. Used remote start for A/C to keep cab cool for two dogs. Saw app said doors unlocked, refreshed app to no avail. Used lock doors on app and it said doors already locked and changed to doors locked on app.

Reinforces my decision to not pay for that app once my free year subscription expires.

Well, turns out this is on me. I don't remember doing it, but I must have hit the tailgate release without opening the camper shell lid. It was released, but captured, so it wouldn't drop, but it wasn't latched.

The tailgate open light only flickered once for about a second when I was driving home, so the rear cap door does a good job of capturing it.

This doesn't explain why I woke up to a notification that the truck was unlocked the other night, but I'll keep an eye on it.
