TRD Pro just a few weeks old and tires looked low ...checked pressure and all at 33 lbs.. Tire is rated for 51lbs max just curious is this is to low.. I may bump up to 45lbs just to see if i like it. may help with MPG..just don't want to wear tire to fast....

    Thanks,
    Chuck

I like 36F 34R cold tire pressure for ride quality typically for unloaded driving. I believe unloaded 40psi cold is optimal for fuel efficiency without excess crowning, but may be wrong about that.

There are tire pressure guides that can help you get started. Toyo has a good load table (universal, applies to all brands). You should never go lower than the mfr spec in the manual, or the minimum weight rating. If you upgrade your tires to LT you have to adjust as well.

    https://www.toyotires.com/tires-101/tire-load-and-inflation-tables/

35 is the recommended pressure iirc.

Here is the link for Falken: https://www.falkentire.com/load-inflation

I have just swapped to the WildPeaks and keep mine at 40 all the way around for daily driving. However I have been thinking about experimenting with 40 front/38 rear. YMMV, since I have a 2.5gen.

I wanted to take the guessing game out so I emailed Falken directly for my 35s. They had me send a picture of the sticker of recommended Toyota tire pressures, and advised me to do 38psi all around. May be worth your while to just email them as well.

I didn’t spend the money to just swap out stuff.
as @Dan_Gleesac14 touched upon, there's a sticker on the body by the drivers door that answers this question unless you're smarter than Toyota.

This sticker is based on the fact that the truck is stock. Wouldnt a different tire, size, trucks load, elevation and temps make you question on what they should be now set to?

Sticker is also based on ability handle max payload/towing capacity. Sticker is a guideline, but there's much more nuance to it. Starting with the chalk test is what he really should do.

I would think that they would still apply as OP is on the stock Wildpeaks. Ultimately, these recommendations are just a baseline, and as you mentioned, adjustments should be made depending on each truck setup. Chalk test if you really want to get best PSI for your setup

Purchased the truck on Jun 10, 2023, modifications will be made!
I have 37" Wildpeaks AT3W's and was running them at 31 to 32psi for a while and then upped it to 35 because I was towing and will keep them there for now. Right quality is good, control feels a little more confident at high speed, doesn't feel like it wants to walk side to side as much.

I run mine about 36. If I remember correctly I ran mine at 39 or 40 but it seem to make the ride worse.

Real issue with tire pressure is maintaining pressure, not where you run them as long as you are within 10 psi of max pressure. When you go from 42 psi in 100 degree temp to 65 degrees. Pressure will drop about 8 psi or so, cold pressure. If you maintain life of tire within 5 psi of your running pressure average. Tire should last a while. Also, don't forget to rotate every 5000 miles.
