Personally l do NOT lke the fake anything on my truck. I certainly do not like the fake sound the exhaust makes. Is there an easy way to disconnect this function?

Yes, we've all disabled the fake exhaust sound by using the "Search" function here.

He is saying you should have used the search forum function. The dealer can turn it off or buy Carista port tool.

Worth the price of the device and a month subscription just for removing the fake exhaust. The other changes are a bonus

Don’t worry the fake exhaust noise will stop when the engine eats a main bearing and shuts down. Then you can listen to warning chimes instead.

I don't remember what all I did. Just basic comfort stuff like being able to roll the windows down with the fob, AC temp being 2degrees under what it is set to (set to 70, blows at 68), an extra blink when I tab the turn signal

Just trying to improve morale! Ha ha ha.

A Carista will offer an easy solution. Or the dealer can turn off the fake noise.

I'm not sure about paying a monthly fee to anyone just to not hear the noise.

You can cancel Carista after a month. Check their website for a list of the things you can change. Engine noise and seat belt chime cancel is worth the price of admission.

The Carista OBD2 was $45 I think, with a one month $15 sub. They have deals every now and then it seems like though for discount subscriptions.

I made the dealer turn it off before I left the lot. Lamest thing ever.
