No idea, but I can have them back on in less than 10 minutes if I need too! I added a TRD skid plate as well. Had to order the shorter bolts.

Having the exact same issue on my newly installed TRD 3-in lift. I have a platinum running method 305s with a plus 18 offset. Tires are a 285 75 18. Full lock to the right it hits the sway bar and is extremely irritating because I spent all this money to retain factory OEM geometry and all of a sudden I'm having this retain factory OEM geometry and all of a sudden I'm having retain factory OEM geometry and now the recommending I remove the dropdown brackets for the sway bar. But I'm just as worried that it will cause other issues down the road.... Toyota is the ones who recommended me going plus 18 offset and it clearly is an issue. Toyota said that they are now changing their recommendation but yet they didn't Tell me that last week. extremely upset

That is definitely frustrating. It is one of the main reseaons I have not changed the wheels and or tires on my truck yet. Did they tell you what they are changing their reccomendation to?

They say that they now do not recommend any other wheels or tires.... Which defeats the whole purpose of a lift....

Basically the only way to actually run the relocation brackets for the sway bar is if you do a zero offset if you want to run 35s...

.The sway bar is basically losing its tension because of removing the bracket and having the 3-in lift from my understanding which is why it has more body roll And why they also add the drop down bracket to fix it.

I see that the icon suspension kit has a drop-down spacer that I'm going to try to run and see if it works without rubbing so at least I get a little bit more of the geometry back to OEM tension.

But we'll see if that works now that I have the TRD skid plate might have to figure out how to run spacers for the skid plate.

    Open to any recommendations!

I also did the factory 3" TRD lift. I went to the 285/65 tires on 20" TRD wheels recommended as the largest size on Toyota's site. I also had the rub and I can't use the TRD skid plate without exposing the sway bar. Adventure Motors, experts in outfitting Toyota tundras suggested Spidertrax wheel spacers and the ikon 1" sway bar spacer. The Spidertrax solved my problem without any change to all the TSS, sensors, etc. For me, this was hands down the easiest and safest solution for me. Plus, when I get new wheels, I can take the Spidertrax off.

What wheel specs and tire size did Adventure suggest so that you could eliminate the wheel spacers when you get new wheels?

TRD 3 inch on 35's looking for TRD pro wheels!!

They recommended me to use a spidertrax spacer. But me picking plus 18 offset wheels it makes it stupid of to put another inch I don't want it sticking out too far. I think the solution would have been to go with a zero offset but the method 305s don't come in a zero offset The next between the plus 18 is a negative 12.

I've ordered the icon 1-in sway bar spacer and I'm hoping that that'll be a happy medium between the 3-inch TRD dropdown bracket and leaving it at the stock ride height position.

It's pretty annoying that this is happening when I spent so much money to get this kit and followed all of their recommendations.

The 305 does come in a 0 offset for the 3rd gen in both the 17” and 18”. However Method themselves did reccomend the +18 and didn’t think there should be a problem running 35’s with the 3” factory lift. They told me I was the first they heard from about that particular issue.

Wait where do you see the 305 in a 0 offset in an 18. I only saw it in a 17!

The double black does not but the black does. I am told it is something specifically to do with the low profile center cap used on the double black.

To muddy the water a little more the 17” double black 305 does come in a 0 offset just not the 18”

I know right!!! So frustrating. The zero offsets seems to fix the rub on the sway bar when you use the drop-down brackets.

I had to remove the brackets too. Now I notice a ton of body roll, do you notice the same?

Can you please post pictures of the icon spaces and the TRD skid plate spacers. I'm attempting to do the same. Also, did it drive better with the icon spacers then leaving the sway bar in factory location?

Exact setup I have...I'm looking to run same size tires...which ones do you have? Any rub/modifications needed on mudflaps, fender liner, etc? Did you have to use the Icon spacers or did the wheel spacers solve it by themselves?

Can someone post links to the spacers and icon drop brackets? I too just installed the 35x12.5s Nitto ridge grapplers on the trd 20" rims (3" trd lifted too) and they rub on the sway bar. I figured doing a 1" wheel spacer might be the easiest cheapest option. I plan on selling the TRD plate and buying the engine skid plate that covers the sway bar.

Is the rub so bad it can't be driven or only at full lock?

Do you think an 11.5" wide tire would clear?

It can be driven but it's a PITA when trying to do a Uturn in the city and you have to turn wider.

    https://www.spidertrax.com/2022-Up-Toyota-Tundra-Wheel-Spacers

Anybody confirm these will fix the issue?

TRD 3 inch on 35's looking for TRD pro wheels!!

If you're keeping the TRD wheels run a spidertrax one inch hub centric spacer. Keep the TRD 3 inch drop down brackets. Also for the skid plate get a talons garage skid plate.

That will be your best set up. If you ever go after market wheels go with 0 offset. Even my +18 rub sway bar. Curious if yours rubs to the right only?

This is great news...so 1" spacers is all I need to run 35x12.5 with the TRD 3" lift? No rub on lowered swaybar? Any rub on flaps/felt?

That's how they have it set up at the Toyota dealership. So it should work! They confirmed no rub

Thanks, this is exactly the conclusion I came to. I ordered thr spacers yesterday and I figure I can sell the TRD plate and buy the talon.

Btw, mine rubs equally on both sides.
