    I have a new 2020 SR5 trim.

For navigation I typically use Waze through Apple CarPlay.

My question though, is 'factory navigation' in every Tundra? Or only on higher trim models? Mine has the button for navigation, you push it, it gives something about 'check out the toyota website'. I called Toyota, the old lady at the nursing home that answered it was less than helpful, only kept saying 'your truck doesn't have navigation'. "But I see the navigation button, is that only for decoration?" 'your truck doesn't have navigation'.

I'll go to the dealer and ask them at first service, but like to be armed with ammo. Generally the diehard public is more knowledgeable than many of the guys working at the dealerships.

Do you have any of the regional appearance packages? For TX and gulf states there is the "TSS' package which puts on different wheels and some other things and all the ones I looked at had integrated Nav as part of the package. So if you have one of those packages it could be they forgot to insert the card.

If you have just an SR5 I know pre 2020 they had a different headunit that did not have the Nav button but not sure about the 2020 models.

Mine is a TSS SR5 from Gulf States with the Nav button. I'll talk to the dealer in a few weeks when I go get it serviced.

They may not have put the card in, I ended up getting a TRD Offroad but looked at several with the TSS package at several dealers and they all had Nav. You should also take a look at your window sticker it should tell you if there is integrated Nav

Go to Toyota.com and in the upper right hand corner is a link for "Owner." Click that and find where you enter your VIN. It will then pull up all the details of the build and features of the truck. From the factory. It will not list any dealer or "port" stuff done to the truck. IIRC.

There is enhanced GPS which uses your phone and integrated GPS which uses a micro SD card with map information. On the right hand side of the head unit under the SEEK buttons, there should be a cover that says 'MAP CARD' for a SD card if you have integrated GPS.

I'm finding there are still a lot of places where cellphone coverage does not exist so anything dealing with a cellphone is useless.
