Facebook Marketplace Rant

I feel like facebook marketplace is the cesspool of humanity. I seem to always get really dumb questions and tons of them. My favorite is when somebody responds with "lowest?" and that's it, how lazy can they be? Or I get lots of people asking where it's located, but it says right in the facebook listing where it's located (facebook automatically adds it). I don't seem to get near the amount of stupidity with craigslist, but also things sell much faster on facebook so I feel like I'm stuck with the insanity.

Anyway, rant over.

 

Basically Internet tire kickers.

 

I posted a set of wheels there once and clearly put the lug pattern, size and even went as far as to list all the makes and models they would fit, Yet every message I got was either what is the lug pattern? What size are they? Or will they fit my shitbox Ford.

Echo everything said above - with one exception. When they first instituted it, my wife found our 2000 4Runner on there. Pics looked like @#$#% but the thing was in damn near showroom condition, with *EVERY* manual book maintenance item done.

But since then, yeah, if I buy something they've been super anal about it; and if I've tried to sell everything, I get "Lowest? Heh I can get a better deal elsewhere."

So go elsewhere, then. LOL

I don't think it's limited to Facebook. My brother tried to sell his car on Kijiji (the Canadian craigslist) and got all the same types of question. Basically, people are stupid, lazy and illiterate and nothing will ever change that.
