I was doing 600 miles/day on the buell when i got it, trying to get home while being chased by thunderstorms. My trips to bahalia,ms were 900miles or so, but i didnt do it in my tundra. Furthest for me in one day was sa,tx to silver city nm.about 700 miles.

So you want to know the most miles in one day or what I average a day?

My commute to work and back is 30 mi.
Here to Amarillo is 630 mi.
Amarillo to Flagstaff is 607 mi.
Flagstaff to El Paso is 475 mi.
El Paso to Kerrville is 490 mi.
Flagstaff to Kerrville is 967 mi. That's my longest trek in a day. 15 hrs straight, leaving T2S 2023.

I’ve done over 1000 when moving back to MA from TX. Drove from Austin to Knoxville in a 14’ F250/F350 U-Haul truck. Left at 6am and got in around 11pm with breaks along the way.

    I wouldn’t do that on a bike.

I used to do 600 miles a day on motorcycles, didn't like it then, now I split it up over a couple days. Cars I've driven from LA to Seattle and Seattle to LA straight through a few times. About 1100 miles. Feel like the time you save in doing the drive straight through is wasted on how long it takes you to recover from the drive. I still go back down to the Bay Area semi regularly, and that's only about 600 miles and that's always a two day trip now, usually with a night or two of camping involved. If I need to get somewhere faster than that, I can fly.

The longest that I have driven was Albuquerque to Moline, IL going through Oklahoma City and St. Louise. That was about 1300 miles. That was the one and only time we went that route as we were seeing my Father-in-law near Peoria, IL. Normally we went to OKC and up through Kansas City and Des Moines. That was the faster route.

I have driven from Philly area in PA to Myrtle Beach SC and back each route in 1 day. Roughly 600miles each way.

Daily for a while, it was around 30 miles per day with occasional 60 miles.
BUT I did get a job near by my home which cut my commute to about 10 miles/day.

Now, since I now work from home, last time I checked, I drove about 1700 miles/yr.

Even after 19 years, I haven't broke 90K miles yet.
