So I was always under the impression that I could extend my warranty as long as I did so before the powertrain 60k mile warranty was up. I was mistaken after contacting Jennifer at Wolverine Toyota and looking at the fine print. You have to enroll in the extended warranty before the 3 year / 36k mile warranty is up. Stupid me.

Now i am looking for a reputable third party warranty as I would like some peace of mind. Has anyone had experience with an extended warranty that is worth it. This is my daily driver and I put a lot of miles on it, tow, camp, etc. I would prefer spending a bit of money now to have the peace of mind that if something went wrong I would have some protection from a huge bill. Truck will be paid off before the end of the year.

I had really good experiences with Zurich in the past. I was a service advisor at a car dealership and we worked with a lot of different extended warranty companies. They covered the most items and were easy to work with.
