So I'm falling down the rabbit hole with front brake replacement... I have new calipers and pads on order, but while breaking the brake lines free from the calipers I noticed that the flexible brake lines were at full stretch (I thought the truck only had Bilstein 5100 level but now I'm not sure...). The previous owner's solution (or mechanic's who did the work) was to remove the retaining clip for the flexible hose to allow the hose to slip out of the retaining bracket (!) for more extension. So while I have everything apart I'd like to install longer flex hoses, but I'm struggling to find much information on extended hoses for the Tundra other than "they come with the lift kit". A search on the forum and extended googling is not coming up with what I need (my google-fu must be off today).

So short question: Any recommended sources for extended front brake lines for our trucks?

Call around to local 4x4, hot rod or other custom mechanics and ask if they make or have a local source for custom lines.

You can also make your own with off the shelf parts if you want to order in brake fittings and premade stainless lines of various lengths.
