Installed the Extang MaxSeal Tailgate Seal (or gasket) today and was very happy with the final fit, function and look of it. Took me all of 10 minutes and a pair of scissors. Once it was complete I wasn't able to see any light through the side or bottom edges of my tailgate when I was inside the bed with the tonneau closed. Goodbye occasional water intrusion and dust collecting!

Actual product and price I paid ($20ish) - Note it's pricier when you go direct to Extang's site?: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B000CN5QG8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Full install instructions here (semi-helpful): http://extangmaxseal.com/2016ToyotaTundra.html

The bottom or horizontal run - have it butting right up against the edge of my Line-X. You can see my extra pieces (the one with red is before removing the adhesive, the black one is after).

    Driver side

    Passenger side

The CRITICAL tailgate side strips that really make a nice seal at the top edge (where we seem to have the largest gap!)

Disclaimer I got nothing for this other than the satisfaction that my cargo will be drier and less dusty than before!

I installed the same thing about a month ago and it was well worth it for sure. The only thing I did different is how I installed the 2 small pieces on the tailgate.

Yes, I deviated slightly from their instructions there, since I have a sprayed bed. I did not want the seal on the top (seating) side of my tailgate, rather on the sides of it.
