Have a toll transponder I need to mount on the windshield. Are there any areas I need to avoid blocking a sensor on a 2021?

I always velcro mounted mine on the corner of the dash or near the middle, both forward by the windshield. No issues

I put mine up high and right of the mirror, as close to the mirror as possible.

I as well. I think that's the recommended location. This location allows passing through the readers at the exits/entrances at a much higher speed than recommended. :D

I put mine directly behind the rear view mirror, below the black area where the cameras and sensors look forward. Can't see it from the driver's seat and has never caused an issue with sensors or with it being readable.

As far as I know, it is only that black section of the windshield above/behind the mirror as well as anything that would block the sensor on top of the dash.

    Being in a 2021, YMMV
