Anyone out there have the ExpOne rear bumper and swing out? Looking for opinions of what you think, best attachments, and any install pointers. Mine is showing up in a month or two. Also, does the spare relocation correct the famous Tundra lean? Or is a shim still necessary?

    Thanks in advance!

I don't personally have it but my old man does and loves it. Carries jerry cans, and full size spare. I would recommend another set of hands on the install because that thing is heavy lol. Also, always guide the swings out to the pin. It's alot of weight to just let swing open on its own. Let me dig up some pics

Nice. I've heard those pins are the one weak point on the swing arms, definitely will be taking it easy on those. I'll likely be tossing the 35" spare and maybe some rotopax off the arms. I'm way too lazy to take the bed off like the pics. So the install should be interesting. haha

The hinge is strong and easy to clean up and maintain also. Exactly and by weak its still very strong but weakest link overall

Wanted to update this thread just in case anyone was doing this install as well.
The instructions from Exp1 are pretty awful. Basically like "Step 1, remove OEM bumper" "Step 2, install Exp1 bumper"
The pictures here are how far you have to disassemble in order for it to go on cleanly. Just in case this helps anyone do their install down the line.
Took around 3 hours for the core bumper. Haven't done the swing arms yet since the latches are on backorder. All that being said and the headache of the instructions, it looks awesome and is much stronger than stock.
