Has anyone put an exhaust together with only 2 out of four cats? I have to order new exhaust parts from the manifold back to muffler and it’s gonna be $2600 just for that short section of piping. I’m hoping that maybe if I can get away with only 2 cats it will be cheaper

Are the cats bad? I did Thorley headers installed with true dual (custom 2.5" stainless) & Magnaflow mufflers for 1600. I kept all 4 cats but it would have been less work for him and I assume less money if he did not need to cut the cats off & weld the flanges on.

3" suspension lift, BMF 20" wheels 305/55/20 nitto ridge grappler tires, painted RED bushwhacker fender flares, fold up tonneu cover,100 watt led fog lights, led interior lights, borla dual exhaust, tinted windows, window vent visors, Toyota hood protector, toyota step bars, spyder carbon fiber floor mats,k&n air filter, painted brake calipers red, installed red lug nuts on wheels remote start.
I have dual borla PRO X's mufflers.2 months ago my pipe in front of one of the mufflers broke and had to get fixed.exhaust man told me the back 2 coverterco we're what he called for extra cleaning.he removed those two converters and took out the flanges and smaller than 2 1/2 " pipe and replaced it with 2 1/2 "" pipe all the way to the mufflers. It sounds really good but I did lose some low end torque.thinking about an x pipe or h pipe?

No I put a cat back exhaust on my truck and the original flanges are so brittle there is bad exhaust leaks and are rotting fast.

Im just trying to get other options cuz I was quoted for almost $3000 for just the 4 sections with the cats . I just don’t wanna go to a shop and have them put cheap piping under there and have them rot out in two years cuz I live in upstate ny and the winters are really bad

Are you looking for just the cats section or from the cat back as well? I have the stock cat back exhaust I’m waiting to get rid of.

I have the mufflers and tail pipes if you need either of them. Not sure what shipping to upstate NY would be though. I’m in San Diego, CA...

I’m sure you could find some local on Craigslist as well.
