I am in love with Tesla more and more now, charged it at home for the first time (110v 12A) and did the math, @ $0.09/KwH, it takes less than $6 to have 270miles charged up. simply amazing.

I know right? a 240v NEMA 14-50 with a 50A breaker is going to be installed tomorrow, currently doing a deep clean in my garage so I have space/room for the wiring work.

wow, you get 15mpg on your tundra? good for you, I spent a lot of money on my Tundra to have the unique 11.5mpg combined real world. LOL

Also, I have read in winter times, the range from a full charge would be around 200miles instead of 270miles, but its still somewhere around 130mpg equivalent lol

same, I have realistic expectations of my truck, not a race car, 60-65mph gets me around 13mpg on a good day.

    You’ll love it

It really varies in the driver, and how much heating for the battery is needed to maintain optimal temps. Use your heated seats and steering wheel as a tip

    That's for Electrify America

This administration is threatened by Elon's success, they also hate his commitment to the 1st ammendment.

    So weird..

I take this as they despise the idea of Musk with a charging monopoly and are making a hamfisted attempt to compete.

    this

Tesla owning all the charging has GOT to piss off more than few folks.

it’s as if the other folks are just following EPA orders and not really wanting to participate in EV’s

Tesla can’t even see 2nd place

any words when the Cybertruck is coming out? I maybe debating keeping or getting rid of my tundra if the CT is not ridiculously pricey.

If someone not named Elon Musk who hadn't made certain other deals in the last couple years was providing all EV makers with developed, reliable charging infrastructure he gets a medal of freedom

still a year out? I wonder what is their production queue based on, order of pre-orders? or base model first? I have a tri-motor pre-ordered the night of release, around 10k in line.

Slow ramp, but they've started the ramp already. Half a dozen or so CTs coming out of giga Texas everyday now. Probably shipping to service centers around the country to train the technicians on

point of interest. Tesla was going to lease the warehouse next door to us,for the incoming stainless rolls but their demands were outrageous. We are a very industrial warehouse park on the ship channel. They wanted everything to be super clean. Lol

no idea where they are now coming in from now

There is a video of a supercharger block getting installed over a week. Impeccable process

gov backed companies could NEVER do that. The grift and kickbacks would hamstring any construction. Which is the hurdle that gov backed companies can’t cross. Free market rules.

    Tesla efficiency is staggering.

and media never addresses any of this.

    we live in interesting times

    just ponderous.

we are seeing it happen all around us. yet, we don't even respond/react anymore.

    a nation of zombies.

I think remarkable/memorable happenings will fill the economy as we approach...say...3rd qtr 24.

    on a lighter note....

I asked the wife if she wanted me to leave the warehouse today to pick her up to go to the lakehouse.

she said no...she'd rather take her car. can't blame her.

    I imagine:
she just drive in excess of the limit
says goofy ass requests to the radio to play all kinds of crap
    looks for curbs to scrape.
