Tesla chargers ~$.30/kwh

you can do the math on that "savings" comparison.

I think it's just the hope that more FSD subs will sell if people see it used. Look at how the opposition was for basic radar cruise a few years ago. Now, people can't live without it.

I acclimated to radar cruise fairly easily. I’m still driving.

I still do NOT like FSD.

It’s not natural to give so much control of your safety over to a computer.

It’s a tough sell to my age group. 56yr

 

I am mostly in agreement. The only way I'd readily be on board would be if all the cars on the road were FSD and could communicate with one another. Then accidents between vehicles would be greatly reduced. It'd just kill driving for pleasure, so I hope I'm dead before that day comes.

 

here is a variable I bet is not built into FSD.

in East Houston we have a LOT of...shall i say...illegal immigrants. they drive like they are Mexico.

traffic signals are just a suggestion to stop.

it's tragically not funny.

they do not assimilate well to our civilized nature of traffic.

Highway driving around here is just as dangerous. I imagine San Diego is very similar.

 

Yup. Fully aware of that kind of stupid. See it on the interstate with foreign CDL drivers as well. Not to point fingers, but folk from India are bad about it. Nicest people you'll ever meet, but horrific drivers because they come from a place where if there is space you can go.

The mecca of Hydropower. Really not trying to brag but I literally don't notice the difference on my power bill since we got the Tesla, it's dumb not to own an EV here.


North Central Washington is getting littered with BigTech data farms because of our power rates.

We have so much going for it here but the few ruin it for the many.

No state income tax, low property taxes, cheap car tabs.. not to mention all the outdoor rec and natural beauty here. It really is a great state except for the obvious

Wonder how badly lacerated the driver's spleen is since there's no crumple to absorb the force. Seems like it's going back to the old '50s-'80s era when you could slam into a wall and the car would drive fine, but the driver was dead because they took all the force.

That sentra looks all smashed, crumpled, and squashed.
Designing vehicles to transfer force instead of absorb force is a step backwards.

 

So much for wanting to save the world. EVs only improve the climate alarmist stuff if they are owned and driven for over 200K miles. By trying to sell the latest and greatest to current EV owners it is actually a negative in the great climate scare theory.

 

Foundation series will be at this price point in a few months as they roll out the beast and AWD
