    Hi there,

I've owned my 2007 SR5 since 2014, and have mainly used it for hauling light loads around the hobby farm. The fuel economy is not the best, though it's not outrageous either.
In August of this year, it suffered a complete engine failure at 210K kilometers. At first, I thought it was the timing belt, as it was due to be changed at 225K. However, when i had it looked at by a mechanic, he said the timing belt was intact; though the rest of the engine was melted together!! Now I'm stuck searching for a replacement motor and radiator....or going in a whole new direction and scrapping the whole Internal Combustion Engine for an electric motor and battery system.
Has anyone had success in doing so?

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! I'm really not sure the EV route is the wisest, but good luck finding info on it!
