Entune & Android

My 2016 looks as if it would prefer Apple. I have Entune with Nav and the JBL stereo (which BTW sucks compared to my older 2011 Sienna sound system). I am an android only person. Is there some way to switch it to run better with android??? I feel like I am not getting my full benefits of Entune. Half the time my Samsung Galaxy 8 doesnt want to connect by Bluetooth.

 

Mine is screwy too, I have to force close the engine app and restart it 90% of the time. I also have a galaxy s8.

 

I have the Phoenix Android head unit, really like the sound improvement over the stock JBL, it is great for YouTube music/video's and front rear camera's. I have a S8+ and it connects up bluetooth/wifi as soon as i turn the key on and can mirror the phone to the screen also.

Hate to tell you this but it sucks with iPhone as well.

 

Wow! the Phoenix Android head unit!!! Hmmm, well I will have to change this shit out then! I dont have time to constantly re connect everything. I would love for my screen to reflect what is happening on my phone. So the sound is really that much better too???? Because I have had 2 Sienna's, a 4runner, and another Tundra and they all had great sound quality. This JBL is a piece!!!

 

Honestly I am glad it sucks with iPhone too, that narrows it down to that shity entune app.

 

I dont have the JBL in mine. I have heard mixed reviews about that headunit though. Is there anything you dont or didnt like about it orbbn installing it? I like to hear the downside of things as well as the upside.
