Ok, this one may just be because I am colorblind, but I have a real hard time seeing the gauge displays on my 2007 Tundra during the day. At night they are lit up like a Christmas tree, but during the day I can barely read them. The console brightness dial is all the way up and the odometer/speedometer looks just fine.

Is there any way to either increase the brightness, or change the way the Fuel, Oil Pressure, Battery Indicator, etc... look?

As a side to this, I have considered installing a Tesla style video display in place of the radio/cd player that is currently in it. Has anyone ever done that? If so, how difficult was it? and, was it worth it?

    Thanks,
    Jim

Have you looked at the cluster that comes in the Limited trim, the one with the Optitron gauges?
