    Has any one on this forum pulled there engine 5.7
    Think of pulling it out to fix the oil leaks it has. Just asking when it hits 300000 I might just go ahead and make it happen.

    Cam tower weap
    Rear main leaks.
    Timing chain cover wrap
    Use about a half a quart every 5000 miles

    Half a quart every 5000 miles is barely a leak, just drive it. My BMW leaks a quart every week, i'll get to it sooner or later

    If I were going to pull the engine, I would look at a complete refresh.

    Thank you all.. I understand it's a small leak. Every time I get out of the truck I can smell burnt oil and it bothers me.
