    None so far
I am new to Toyota, I have been driving Fords for 30+ years. I see that on the 5.7 Engine both 0w20 and 5w20 oil. For the south, where it doesn't get that cold that often, which is the best to use?
    I have a 2019 Tundra 1794 and I am impressed!

I've been using the 0W20 for all of the 55,000 miles so far. No issues.

But I'd look at it this way. If you DON'T start the truck and just jamb it into gear and goooooooo. In other words, let it warm up a bit then I don't think it makes a rats azz difference. I let my cold Tundra "warm up" almost all of the time. I'm sure that by the time I take off the 0W is closer to 5W. Granted the metal parts are warmer too.

    Haha....

    :deadhorse:

No, in all seriousness this information is in the owners manual. The manual says to use 0w-20, but if it is not available than you can use 5w-20. However, at next oil change it needs to be changed back to the 0w-20. Just stick to one of the name brand oil 0w-20 and it will be fine.

Some old school guys prefer a little heavier oil and it runs fine also in the truck.
